How to Reach the Conference

By Plane:

Naples International Airport (Capodichino – NAP) is about 20 minutes from the conference venue by taxi or rideshare.

  • By Shuttle Bus: The Alibus shuttle Link connects the airport to Napoli Piazza Garibaldi, the main train station. From there, take Metro Line 2 in the direction Pozzuoli and get off at Napoli Campi Flegrei. The University venue is a 10-minute walk from the station.

  • By Public Bus: Alternatively, you can take bus 180 from the airport (27 stops) and get off at D’Annunzio – Cimitero. From there, it is a 5-minute walk to the venue.

By Metro or Train:

Napoli Centrale is the main railway station, with high-speed connections from Rome (1h10), Florence, and Milan. From the station, take Metro Line 2 (direction Pozzuoli) and get off at Campi Flegrei, which is about a 10-minute walk from the conference venue.

The closest metro stop is Campi Flegrei (Line 2), operated by Trenitalia, providing convenient access to both the Department of Electrical Engineering and the Mostra d’Oltremare.

Alternatively, the venue can also be reached via Line 9 (L9), operated by EAV. In this case, get off at Mostra–Stadio Maradona station and walk approximately 8 minutes to the venue.

By Bus:

The venue can also be reached by several bus lines: 180, 181, R6, R7, 151, 502, and C1. You can check updated routes and schedules on the ANM official website

By Car:

The venue is easily reachable by car, with parking available near Mostra d’Oltremare. We recommend checking traffic conditions, as September can be busy in Naples.
