FAQs

With reference to your presentation(s) please allow us to provide you with the following information and guidelines:

• Chairs and presenters should be in the room for the session at least 10 minutes before its beginning, to meet the volunteers and ensure everything is in ready.
• Presentations at the Arquivo Room will be delivered at the podium, with microphone and clicker available. Presentations in all other rooms are done from the presidential table. The use of personal computers for the presentations is discouraged.
• Presentation files should be in the horizontal format (16:9), and can be PPT or PDF files.
• Presentation files should be delivered to the Slide Desk (via USB pen). There will be a team of technicians ready to verify if your presentation meets all the criteria to run without problems during your session. They will also make sure to deliver your presentation to the video team in your session room. You will only need to worry about giving your presentatino and passing the slides.
• All presentations should be delivered at the Slide Desk until 16:00 of the day before of your presentation, to ensure there is sufficient time to check and make any adjustments to their files. Presenters of the morning sessions of Monday (15 September), should send their presentation to the following e-mail: slidedesk@newaudiovisuais.com
• Each presenter has a maximum of 15 minutes for presentation plus 3 minutes for discussion, if more time is used, it will be deducted from the time allocated to discussion.
• All discourse during sessions must be made in English as no translation is provided.

POSTER DIMENSIONS Posters must be in portrait, NOT landscape format. They must not be wider than 84cm (horizontal dimension) and higher than 120 cm (vertical dimension).

RESPONSABILITY Authors are responsible for setting up their posters at the beginning of the presentation day and removing them at the end of the session you are presenting, but there will be staff to assist you in anything you need. Any poster not taken at the indicated time, will be discarded.

Poster Format

The format for posters is A1 vertical (594 x 841 mm). You can hang up your poster about half an hour before the start of your poster session.

As stated in the conference guidelines, the following two conditions must be met:

• At least one author must be registered for the article to be included in the proceedings.
• If, for any reason, none of the authors can attend the conference in person, you must arrange another researcher to present the work on your behalf.
